We’re Open. Studios are considered a critical business under the California Government Health Guidelines for COVID-19 and are permitted to be open provided they are taking the appropriate sanitary measures. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily and taking all measures necessary to make our studio a virus-free environment.
Studio UV Sterilization: Thunder is using UVC light as germicidal sterilization on hard surfaces including all equipment used on production. This use is hospital tested as to killing viruses, bacteria and other organisms by disrupting the genetic material of the virus. Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers Only

(Excerpt from the Essential Critical Infrastructure Worker’s PDF)
We’re doing our part. We take the California state and U.S. national health guidelines seriously. As we all continue to monitor the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely we are maintaining strict sanitary protocols to keep our studio campus safe and clean for our clients, employees, and the community at large. Hygiene standards for our employees, studio stages, common areas, catering facilities, gear, and equipment have always been a priority. Thunder Studios is not open to the general public, so we are able to closely monitor who is permitted on our campus at any given time. Under the current circumstances we want to remind you that we have been implementing additional measures to serve you in the safest possible way, including:
-All high touch areas (hard surfaces, bathrooms, tables, chairs, doorknobs, and equipment handles) regularly disinfected with hospital grade cleaner
-Hand sanitizer with a minimum 60% alcohol content is available throughout the studio for clients and employees
-Thunder Studios employees have been instructed to frequently wash hand with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds
-Thunder Studios provides paid sick leave to all employees and has advised all staff to stay home and contact their healthcare provider if they feel unwell. Any employee or client displaying symptoms will be politely asked to leave the studio
In addition, all employees non-essential to the physical run of show in studio are working from home. Stage managers and security remain on-site in the meantime, diligently using UV sanitizing technology daily to ensure the safety of all clients and guests at our facility.
